I was drawn to Chinese medicine because of it's gentle approach to healing the whole person. I have found that the medicine works by balancing the out of balance meridians in the body (disease) and has the beneficial affect of calming and rejuvenating the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, thus allowing the body to heal with greater ease. On a mental emotional level it can help people to focus on their own path and purpose in life thus realizing ones true potential, and perhaps discovering what we are truly capable of in this lifetime. Chinese medicine is definitely much more than treating pain alone. It treats the whole person each and every time. Every day I feel blessed that I can practice this medicine and be the vehicle through which the healing occurs. It is a very creative and vibrant art form and I am all about growing and healing for myself as much as I am for my patients.
